Marumitsu Shokudo

Marusan cold food store was started in 1960 by the previous generation Mr. and Mrs. Kinjo on Ishigaki Island. Although it was located in a rural area with little foot traffic, the delicious homemade zenzai restaurant, which was rare at the time, quickly gained popularity. In 1979, it moved to its current location in Itoman City, the birthplace of Mr. and Mrs. Kinjo. The previous owner, Mr. and Mrs. Kinjo, have already retired, but the current owner continues to operate the store as it has been since then.
